Part-Time Groundskeeper

$13.72 $17.16 per hour

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Mow or edge lawns using power mowers or edgers.
• Operate vehicles and powered equipment such as mowers tractors power blowers eaters chain saws electric clippers sod cutters and pruning saws.
• Perform parking lot maintenance such as removal of trash limbs or other debris. Shovel snow from walks driveways or parking lots.
• Care for established lawns by mulching aerating weeding grubbing removing thatch or trimming or edging around flower beds walks or walls.
• Use hand tools such as shovels rakes pruning saws saws hedge or brush trimmers or axes.
• Gather and remove grass clippings leaves branches and other litter and dispose of them properly.
• Mix and spray or spread fertilizers herbicides or insecticides onto grass shrubs or trees using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders.
• Assists with building maintenance custodial services and event setup.
• Performs all tasks in a safe and timely manner to meet deadlines required for normal daily operations. Follows all Safety Security and PPE requirements.
• Perform other duties such as hauling lifting carrying and other physical tasks as required to support the overall mission of the Cooperative.
• The ability to handle stress and work well with others are essential functions of this position.
• Performs any other related duties as required or assigned.
• Due to our obligation to provide continuous reliable electric service to our customers the ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance and the ability to work outside your regularly scheduled office hours when necessary is an essential function of the job.

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must be 18 years of age.

Valid drivers license
