Job Description
Overview

Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Makes timely deliveries to customers.
- Places assembles and/or installs furniture to customer specifications.
- Develops and maintains outstanding working relationships with customers.
- Plans and carries out daily route to ensure that all deliveries are made.
- Communicates issues to supervisory in a timely manner.
- Drives safely and maintains valid drivers license.
- Other duties as assigned.
- May be exposed to varying weather conditions
- Complete daily pretrip and posttrip inspections of the delivery vehicle
- Follow all FMCSA DOT traffic laws and regulations at all times
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Outstanding communication skills with an ability to converse read and write in English
- Must be able to work as a team and independently
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- CDL license required
- Ability to obtain a DOT medical card
- Experience with basic furniture assembly
- Must be able to work independently and manage time appropriately to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- License Required: Class A or B
- 1 year of CDL Truck Driving Experience

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. This job requires frequent use of material handling equipment.
