Job Description
Avesta Housing is seeking an Activities Assistant to work at our assisted living facility 75 State Street. The Activities Assistant assists in the planning managing organization advertising and running of scheduled activities in accordance with established policies procedures mission and values of 75 State Street.

What Were Looking For
The person who is ready for this opportunity will meet the following requirements:
- Excellent judgment
- Caring attitude
- Detail oriented
- Good communications skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
- Must possess valid Maine drivers license and clean driving record. Ability to drive 14passenger bus after training has been provided.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with residents family staff outside facilities and vendors.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to present a professional and welcoming appearance.

This is a nonexempt/hourly position that pays $17.00 $19.00 per hour plus any applicable shift differentials. This is a parttime 20 hours/week) position with regular hours in the afternoon.
