Job Description
TheSr Analyst R&D Commercializationis responsible for delivering small to medium scale projects within specific brands/categories including but not limited to new platform innovation initiatives broad brand maintenance work and cost out initiatives. The Associate Manager is required to interface with cross functional parties at all levels of the organization including relevant brand stewards in Marketing R&D and Finance as well as relevant technical and resources and/or field operations. In addition the Associate Manager will play a key role in strategic governance forums like Stage Gate.
Key Components
- Support Business and Manufacturing Systems initiatives as required and support the continuous improvement of the commercialization process through collaboration with key stakeholders and best practice sharing.
- Lead and/or participate in various category stakeholder governance forums (i.e. Stage gate/Leadership teams) advise on project status and conformance to business governance rules.
- Lead commercialization efforts for projects across the BUs platform innovation programs or significant capital related initiatives. Ensure effective team engagement which may include establishing and managing team meetings. Review project timelines and cost regularly with the project team facilitate creation of mitigation/contingency plans and manage communication.
- Lead crossfunctional teams in the development and implementation of a broad coordinated set of projects to meet the revenue volume growth productivity and quality goals and priorities of the BU and category.
- Facilitate the definition of project scopes goals tasks and resource (people and cost) requirements; resolve or assist in the resolution of conflicts within and between projects or functional groups; develop methods to monitor and report project progress and provide corrective action if necessary.
- Initiate the finished good Master data setup and communicate completed information to all stakeholders so all information systems can be properly set up to produce ship sell and invoice our products.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in related field.
- 3 years of experience in CPG environment.
- Understanding of project management methodology.
