Job Description

ELL Paraprofessional

High SchoolLevel

Fulltime for theSchool Year

LHS is seeking aparaprofessional to provide classroom support for our English Learners.

Requirements:

Diploma required degree preferred

Proficiency inPortuguese preferred; Spanish and Haitian Creole will be considered.

Duties:

Assist the students with all instructional and noninstructional tasks as assigned by the teacher.

Interpret materials and class content for students

Participate in appropriate workshop programs and attend any required meetings.

Display ethical behavior in working with students parents school personnel and outside agencies associated with the school.
