Job Description

Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is a K8 district.

The successful candidate must be able to accomplish the following responsibilities in a friendly efficient and professional manner:

  • Assist students with a patient and friendly attitude and provide general support in a nonjudgemental nonreactive manner.
  • Assists instructional personnel with the development and presentation of a variety of instructional materials and instructional exercises.
  • Assists students in a group or an individual basis with specific instructional tasks and or specific student goals to accommodate their development and growth.
  • Assists with data collection and assessments for student IEP goals and behavior support services.

DETAILS FOR THIS POSITION:

  • LENGTHOF WORK YEAR:Student Year Employee Calendar *Beginning the 2025/2026 School Year*
  • WORK SITE:Fallbrook Stem Academy
  • WORK SCHEDULE:Monday Friday 6.0 hours/day 5 days/week 8:00 a.m. 2:30 p.m.
  • BENEFITS: Benefit package includes Health and Welfare paid sick leave vacation and holidays (currently observing 14 paid holidays a year).
  • REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING:Equivalent to the completionof the twelfth grade; and either an Associates Degree of Arts (AA) or have completed 48 college/university semester units or pass the FUESD proficiency test for this classification; Maintain Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification provided by the district.
  • Maintain CPR and first aid certification as provided by the District.
  • Within the probationary period paraprofessionals will be expected to participate in Districtwide training /supervision and receive a District Certificate of Competence.

  • Letter of Recommendation 1 (within the last year and preferably from the most recent employer)
  • NCLB Compliance Proof of degree/transcripts (if applicable)

  • A proficiency test is not required if you have an Associates or Bachelors degree; however proof of degree must be scanned and submitted (uploaded and attached) to your application.
  • It is the policy of this District that employment will be offered to the successful candidate contingent upon satisfactory completion of a preemployment physical drug/alcohol screening test fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice and FBI and a current verification of a negative T.B. test or chest xray.
