Step into Your New Role
Kleinfelder is seeking an experienced Oil & Gas Engineering Program Manager to join our growing southeast engineering team. With expanding opportunities in Florida in the Energy market the ideal candidate will join our high achieving fastpaced team. The project work will be multidisciplinary in nature but experience in dealing with Oil & Gas pipeline rightofway design permitting and construction is required. Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team are valued attributes for this position.

- Atlanta Georgia
- Jacksonville Florida
- Tampa Florida
- Charlotte North Carolina
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of project including project organization subcontractor management scheduling financial management health and safety stewardship and reporting.
- Nurture and grow client relationships and contracts that include complex multidisciplinary Oil and Gas pipeline and facility projects.
- Leading growing and mentoring staff supporting the achievement of professional career goals.
- Oversee pursuits designate the appropriate resources to projects define client needs address client concerns and manage engineering resources within budget.
- Lead and participate in technical cost and scheduling decisions for interdisciplinary teams ensuring company quality standards and driving customer value.
- Devise new approaches to problems encountered.
- Collaborate on a program of design and construction management projects striving for continuous improvement in process development and .
- Build relationships on technical and client service teams and within client organizations.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external teams of clients and stakeholders.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor of Engineering; Civil or Mechanical Engineering degree preferred
- 10 years of related experience including 5 years of project management in the Energy market.
- 3 years of experience managing engineering design for linear pipeline projects including experience in integration of transportation design conflicts.
- Knowledge of applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education (Including any required Certifications):
- S. in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution or acceptable equivalent
- Professional Engineering license in Florida or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Project Management Professional certification a plus
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Client facing relationships with private energy companies
- Proven track record of effective project management and developing relationships with clients.
- Oil & Gas pipeline transmission project experience
- Demonstrated ability to engage in industry or community organizations
- Supervisory experience in training developing and mentoring junior engineers
