Acutronic is looking for a Mechanical Assembler I to join our team in Pittsburgh PA. In this role you will be responsible for assembling mechanical systems and components and ensuring that they meet the required specifications and quality standards. Mechanical Assembler I
Your Roles/Responsibilities:
- Assemble and test complex mechanical subassemblies and systems involving many parts; care alignment and precision tolerance of parts is critical
- Evaluate the alignments of axes in relation to each other: verify the orthogonality and angular displacement measurements through use of autocollimators mirror assemblies electronic indicators or alignment telescopes
- Prepare work to be accomplished by studying prints reviewing parts lists and gathering parts tools and necessary materials
- Clean and prepare parts for finish inspect incoming parts for defects
- Assist in the packing and shipping of equipment to customers
- Perform maintenance on machines and equipment
Your Profile/Qualifications/Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of mechanical experience preferred
