Job Description
Join our fun loving team at Valley ViewVillage Assisted Living as a FullTime Care Attendant.Our building is conveniently located in a parklike setting on Des Moines East side near shopping centers hospitals medical providers and I235.
There are FullTime(Night)positions available working varied schedules including every other weekend.
FT Hours: 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
What does a Care Attendant do
- Provide residents with desired services in a caring safe and timely manner.
- Provide redirection reassurance emotional and psychological support to residents and family members.
- Assist residents with personal care with dignity and grace.
- Document services performed on computerized charting system.
- Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude reaction and appetite to the supervisor.
- Perform additional tasks as needed.
What does a Care Attendant require
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Clear documentation skills.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
