Experience 4 years of relevant years in US Residential Mortgage Underwriting

Job Responsibilities
- Ability to manually underwrite complex transactions to ensure the loan meets established guidelines
- Underwriter should have the ability to read the guidelines to determine whether each loan meets the requisite guideline as specified by the Client
- Should know how to run the AUS and verify the data integrity of the Desktop UW / Loan Prospector
- Review the Employment Guideline Requirements
- Perform Income calculations (salaried / Selfemployed / Rental / Other Incomes)
- Validate all types of Assets including 401K Bank Statements Mutual funds etc.
- Usage of Assets against Income requirement/qualification
- Calculate DebttoIncome Ratio Loantovalue Ratio Housing Payment
- Review appraisal and perform Property Valuation and use property valuation tools
- Review Credit Reports including Credit Scores Existing liens payments etc.
- Should also review the alternate / support documents for credit review Title review and lien validations
- Review loan details in Loan applications Letters of explanation and gift letters
- Income verification on Bank statement loans
- Clientspecific guideline review with alternate documentation
- Understanding of Counter offer and Solutions to the loan
- Review of compliance documents
Requirements
Must have 4 experience into US Residential Mortgage Underwriting
Must be flexible with the shift timings
Must be ready to relocate to Chennai
Must be available for immediate joining only
