Our Employer Solutions team provides technology Human Resource solutions to Commercial & Public Sector organizations across Canada. Leveraging their expertise as HR practitioners the team delivers costeffective customized support including payroll performance management business process outsourcing as well as Customer Relationship Management solutions.

What youll do

As an Ambassador of our Solutions you will provide expertise and analysis in the areas of Compensation Benefits and HR Administration to a public sector Hospital client in Ontario with over 4000 employees. As an Advisor you will provide thought leadership and best practice to the client on how to handle unique scenarios and escalations. As a Researcher you should be ready to investigate questions using a variety of resources to obtain necessary data. As an Analyst you will create reports to provide to various stakeholders review them for accuracy and provide guidance on improvements or efficiencies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage work requests from the client to determine priority implementation timelines and liaison with technical team for completion
  • Processing of WSIB Form 7 earnings reporting
  • Manage and process HR transactionsNew Hire rehire termination retirement leave of absence and returned from leave of absence
  • Review and generating biweekly record of employment
  • Process and audit biweekly wage progression
  • Benefits and pension administration
  • Client service support managing inquiries
  • Maintain and update documentation regarding HR processes and controls
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement process improvements and reengineering
  • Support HR project initiatives including documentation testing and training
  • Testing new enhancements or fixes to PeopleSoft before they are released into Production environment with support from the technical team
  • Partner and collaborate with the client and other team on resolving HR related issues
  • Support the development and implementation of initiatives that foster a positive work environment and inclusive culture
  • Identify areas where HR processes or employee initiatives can be optimized based on data insights
  • Other tasks as assigned
  • Ability to come to the office in Hamilton Ontario 12 days per week depending on workload training and tasks

Qualifications

What you bring

  • Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft
  • Strong knowledge of Hospitals of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP)
  • Strong knowledge of best practice in HR Compensation and Benefits
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook Word and Excel
  • Excellent analytical skills attention to detail and accuracy and achieving quality standards a must
  • Highly motivated and possesses an intrinsic passion for quality and process improvements
  • Proven decisionmaking abilities based on analysis experience judgment and innovative thinking
  • Ability to create positive relationships establish rapport and work effectively in crossfunctional teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive problemsolving approach
  • Detailoriented and ability to work to tight timelines
  • Experience with multi unions
  • Knowledge of HR metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Excellent organizational skills; including effective prioritization time management and the ability to multitask
  • Strong client service skills

Required Professional Designation/Certification:

  • Bachelors degree or diploma in Human Resources Business Administration or related fields
  • Successful completion of CHRP certification preferred

Required Experience:

  • 2 years of experience in Human Resources related roles
  • Experience with HRIS system
