Skydance Animation Madrid is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Technical Artist Character Assembly Trainee to join our studio!
As a Technical Artist Character Assembly Trainee you will be responsible for helping its assigned departments to solve basic technical issues.
Our Internship Program offers its own unique learning opportunities. You will have the chance to network and meet with Skydance leaders learn transferable skills and gain realworld experience. It is an experience ideal for those moving from the classroom to the industry.
This is a paid internship that will be held onsite.

Responsibilities
Helps fix the issues in the assigned scenes.
Helps artists to solve simple bugs.
Updates basic documentation. Reviews and updates the technical documentation related to the workflows and tools of the department that they support.
Attends technical meetings to as requested to keep trained and updated in the new studio/department tools pipelines workflows etc.
Follows supervisors and leads guidance.
Follow the Tutors guidance.
Assists other team members when necessary.
Follows the department supervisor and leads instruction.
Requirements
Strong artistic or/and technical knowledge related to 3D animation is a must.
Knowledge of some 3D animation area (Modeling Surfacing Animation Lighting).
Knowledge in any 3D animation Software (Maya Max or Houdini).
Must be available for at least 3 months onsite (from Monday until Friday 35h/week).
Must be currently enrolled in your last year in an Associate Bachelor or Masters program at an accredited institution.
Selfstarter with proficient writing and critical thinking skills attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Highly motivated and interested in Animation and Technology.
