Job Description
DETAILS ABOUT THIS POSITION:
- Hourly range:Step 1 23.35 Step 8 $32.84 (Initial salary placement for this position is from Step 1 to Step 3 depending on the amount of reasonably related experience)
- Length of Work Year:MF / 195 days per school year
- Location:Transportation
- Hours:6 hr Split Shift Schedule varies depending on route.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience:
- Two 2 years of successful driving experience with a demonstrated record of safe driving
- Experience driving a school bus or equivalent passenger transportation vehicle is desirable.
- Possession of a valid and appropriate California Drivers License
- Possession of a California Special Drivers Certificate
- Possession of a Standard Red Cross First Aid Certificate or equivalent or pass a test administered by the CHP
- All applicable state and federal licensing requirements

- California Special Drivers Certificate
- CPR & First Aid Certificate CPR and First Aid courses must be in accordance with the curriculum of the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Online certifications will not be accepted. Please Note: A BLS certificate alone does not meet the CPR/First Aid requirement. In addition to BLS you must attach a First Aid Certificate.
