Job Description
We havefulltimeMaintenance/Janitorial Supervisor opening in Lihue (located on Kauai) at a retail center. Candidate must have a valid driver license previous handson maintenance experience light plumbing electrical carpentry and painting experience is required. Must be comfortable with creating reports sending emails communicating with customers. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain purchase orders
- Create and maintain work orders
- Maintain and perform preventative maintenance
- Supervising and scheduling the work of mechanical maintenance staff
- Coordinates and performs the work activities of assigned areas
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with property managers customers vendor etc.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment and report hazardous conditions
- Follow all safety rules and policies use safety equipment and personal protective equipment when it is appropriate to assigned tasks.
- Maintain inventory of tools keys hardware supplies
- Available to work after hours during an emergency and/or when a deadline must be met.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED
- Must have a valid driver license
- Supervisory experience
- Knowledge of basic maintenance and use of power tools
- Troubleshooting abilities
- Electrical mechanical and basic HVAC skills.
- Must have good public relations skills and communication
- Proficient in computer usage and software such as Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational skills
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday 5am1:30pm
Compensation:
- $21.50/per hour
