School Counselors deliver services in a variety of settings including individual small group classroom and graduating class assemblies. School Counselors respond to identified needs by implementing a comprehensive school counseling curriculum that addresses academic success college planning and social emotional DUTIES & for help in planning and/or implementing the following school counseling programs: classroom lesson plans graduating class assemblies agendas and materials parent evening agendas and materials attendance at parent meetings as assigned by Director of School Counseling college planning steps and materials growth and development of the and develop an understanding of student needs and abilities through frequent consultations with faculty and and manage Scoir for the assigned students on School Counselor and/or manage school day standardized required and requested college application supporting documents to college admissions offices as a letter of recommendation to support senior students with their college application communication as needed with parents/guardians of students that are on School Counselor for following developed timelines and creating programs for the developmental school counseling records for students that are on School Counselor caseload: temporary folders testing results progress reports/report cards school counseling Scoir and Rediker software programs. professional growth by way of workshops and/ or graduate cooperate with and administer school procedures and policies as set forth in the StudentParent Handbook and the Faculty & Staff and commit themselves to the educational and spiritual mission of the duties as assigned that are consistent with the forgoing responsibilities and objectives.
