Job Description
Abilene Middle School in Abilene KS is seeking an Assistant 8th Grade Boys Basketballcoach for upcoming 202526 school year.
Duties include but are not limited to:
1. Teaching the fundamental physical skills of the sport
2. Helping players make consistent improvement individually & as a team.
3. Collaboration with the 7th grade coaches and HS coaches to ensure alignment between programs and terminology is consistent.
4. Organizing and collaborating with other middle school coaches on runninghighly organized and engaging practices.
5. Communicating expectations and pertinent informaton with players andparents.
6. Working cohesively with the head coach.
7. Showing passion and desire to build a program that is aligned from 3rd12th grade.
8. Living out and instilling our core values (commitment effort andteamwork) with each individual and the entire team.
9. Be a team player that values and wants to help build the AbileneBasketballprogram.
