SQL Data base administrator

Position Description:

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to organize and maintain the database inventory on the ServiceNow CMDB. The ideal candidate will have strong database management skills and expertise in SQL Server and MySQL environments both onpremises and in Azure cloud.

Main Responsibilities:
Organize and maintain the database inventory on the ServiceNow CMDB.
Install and configure SQL Server onpremises.
Install and configure MySQL onpremises.
Migrate SQL Server from onpremises to Azure.
Upgrade SQL Server onpremises.
Implement and standardize database monitoring tools.
Document processes and configurations.

Required Skills:
Expertise in SQL Server and MySQL.
Experience with ServiceNow CMDB.
Indepth knowledge of Azure cloud environments.
Skills in database migration to the cloud.
Ability to implement and standardize monitoring tools.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Qualifications:
Degree in Computer Science or related field.
Significant professional experience in database administration.
Relevant certifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate).

Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role requiring interaction with national and global clients.
