Job Description:
Richland RIV School District is seeking a dedicated and energetic High School Physical Education and Weights Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will promote physical fitness teamwork and a healthy lifestyle while creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students.
Responsibilities:
- Teach high school Physical Education and Weights/Strength Training courses.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with Missouri state standards.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to support individual growth.
- Promote student participation in fitness activities sports and lifelong wellness.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment in gymnasiums weight rooms and outdoor facilities.
- Collaborate with colleagues coaches and administration to support student success.
- Serve as a role model and mentor for students.
Qualifications:
- Missouri Teaching Certification in Physical Education (K12 or 912.
- Experience in weight training strength conditioning or coaching preferred.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Passion for health fitness and student development.
