Job Description

Job Description:

DXC Technology is seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer to play a key role in the development of innovative digital solutions. Through a cocreative designthinking approach you will contribute to the design and user experience of new applications and features. In this role you will be involved throughout the entire design processfrom supporting sales and proposal development to conducting user research prototyping and detailed design. Additionally you will contribute to the growth and advancement of UX capabilities within the company.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the UX design process for digital applications and features
  • Conduct user research through interviews usability testing and other qualitative methods
  • Develop prototypes and highfidelity UI designs using tools such as Figma Adobe XD and Axure
  • Ensure the application of usercentered design principles and best practices
  • Utilize and contribute to design systems (Material Design GOV or custom frameworks)
  • Facilitate designthinking workshops and collaborate with stakeholders to align business and user needs
  • Provide strategic input and problemsolving expertise to enhance product usability
  • Maintain an eye for both detail and overarching design coherence
  • Work closely with crossfunctional teams including developers and product managers

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in UX/UI design across various projects and industries
  • Strong understanding of UX and UI design principles methodologies and tools
  • Experience in conducting qualitative user research and usability testing
  • Proficiency in using and implementing design systems
  • Ability to facilitate workshops and designthinking sessions
  • Strong functional analytical skills and the ability to translate business requirements into userfriendly designs
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Language requirements: fluent in Dutch (oral and written) and English

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Design Thinking methodologies
  • Knowledge of HTML CSS and SASS to better collaborate with development teams
  • Experience designing for responsive and accessible interfaces
  • Understanding of WCAG accessibility guidelines
