About the unit
Lemmen Holton Cancer Pavilion focuses on the latest breast cancer treatments therapies and technologies. Our multispecialty approach to cancer care means a team of experts come together to focus on a patients specific case. We are also leading the way in helping patients navigate their needs with care support teams and offer services like curbside care for some needs so that our patients can be comfortable during this difficult time.
About Outpatient Clinics
Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.
Scope of work
Provides health care services applying xray energy to assist in diagnosis. Performs medical imaging techniques and related procedures to demonstrate breast anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention by or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Assists licensed practitioners with invasive procedures. Applies appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
Qualifications
- Associates Degree or equivalent years of experience in related field
- Bachelors Degree Preferred
- 2 years of relevant experience mammography Required
- CRTRadiographer (R) ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required And
- CRTMammography (M) ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required
- CRTBasic Life Support (BLS) AHA American Heart Association or ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required
