Position Overview:
The Director of Rooms at W Rome will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotels rooms division ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of service. This role requires a dynamic leader who can manage a diverse team optimize room revenue and uphold the hotels reputation for luxury and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Lead and inspire the rooms division team fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Guest Experience: Ensure all guests receive personalized and memorable experiences from checkin to checkout.
- Operational Management: Oversee housekeeping front desk and guest services operations ensuring efficiency and adherence to brand standards.
- Revenue Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to maximize room revenue and occupancy rates.
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards of cleanliness maintenance and presentation across all rooms and public areas.
- Budget Management: Manage departmental budgets control costs and ensure financial targets are met.
- Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members promoting career growth and skill enhancement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments including Food & Beverage Sales and Marketing to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel environment.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record in revenue management and operational excellence.
- Excellent communication and problemsolving abilities.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Italian is a plus.
