Job Description

Description

Job Purpose:

To assist the Special Medical Services Manager in daily tasks which can range from office tasks to meeting with important clients and the coordination of staff and events.

Key Performance Areas:

To assist the Special Medical Services Manager in daily administrative tasks
To collect and drop equipment stock etc as and when required
To prepare and pack for events when required
To ensure medical bags and equipment is always maintained and ready
To attend meetings with clients when required
To assist with transport of staff and equipment to and from events
To assist in coordinating events staff and equipment on weekends
To ensure event vehicles always ready packed and clean
Capturing of vehicle tripsheets on Excel
Allocating staff to events and ensuring clear briefings of events explained to staff
Work in VOC at Events when required

Requirements

1. Matric certificate or equivalent qualification.
2. Must have a valid code 8 Drivers licence and PrDP
3. First Aid Qualification a minimum requirement
4. 1 Year Event coordinating / planning experience
5. Good speaking skills with clear pronunciation
6. Good judgment and communication skills with colleagues
7. Ability to be able to interact with people in various departments and companies
8. Ability to work efficiently under pressurized circumstances
9. Ability to work as part of a team
10. Be willing to work extended hours
11. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
12. Effective computer typing skills as needed for work (e.g. Data Entry Word processing Excel Email)
13. Ability to organize and coordinate work.
14. Ability to read write speak and understand English.
15. Ability to accept constructive feedback regarding work performance.
16. A suitable candidate should have the ability to work under high performance pressure with exceptional multitasking skills.
17. Must have active listening skills and attention to detail.
