As the next Senior Geotechnical Engineer you will ideally have a client list that calls you first when they need new projects completed. You will also oversee all current projects undertaken by the Junior Engineers while managing your own and pursuing new bids. This is an excellent opportunity that offers an excellent compensation package for the right individual and with minimal in the field time you will be sleeping in your own bed more often than not.

The Role:
Located in Kamloops BC
Reviewing Geotechnical projects to ensure comprehensiveness and adherence to company standards
New business development through an established list of industry contacts as well as proposals budgets and schedules
Train and Mentor Junior Engineers in both the field as well as in the office
Coordinate all investigations including analysis of results designs and final report writing
Monitor and supervise construction crews in slope stabilization and foundation projects
Your Skills & Experience:
***MUST HAVES*** A Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field
***MUST HAVE*** 15 years Experience working in the the Geotechnical discipline in and around the province of BC
***MUST HAVE*** PEng Registration with EGBC (or eligible to be registered)
5 years background in managing and mentoring junior teams
A background in multiple disciplines of geoscience including soil mechanics landforms design seepage drainage groundwater etc..
Experience in the design and construction of foundations (both deep and shallow)
Experience in earth retention retaining walls etc.
You should be familiar with various software programs such as SLOPE/W SLIDE SETTLE3D and others
Fluent command of the English language both spoken and written
