Quality Assurance Specialist

The Opportunity: Join our dynamic team at Hitachi Energy as a Quality Assurance Specialist! In this role youll be at the forefront of ensuring the highest standards of quality in our products and processes. Youll work independently with limited supervision applying your advanced knowledge to manage projects and processes. How Youll Make an Impact:

  • Prequalify materials and products before installation.
  • Conduct inspections and testing in line with Contract Specifications and Quality Control Plans.
  • Serve as the primary contact with official laboratories preparing test samples and verifying compliance.
  • Prepare quality assurance economic studies specifications and technical reports.
  • Coordinate quality initiatives and perform internal audits.
  • Investigate technical problems and establish corrective actions.
  • Develop and evaluate quality programs and measure quality activities.
  • Collaborate with the production team to implement quality improvements.

Your Background:

  • Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in quality assurance.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 standard.
  • Ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Proficiency in PFMEA and Control Plans.
  • Familiarity with the 8D ProblemSolving methodology.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Lean manufacturing knowledge is a plus.
