Were looking for an Electrical Craft Team Member to join our team and play a key role in keeping our plant running safely and efficiently. Working as part of a multiskilled shift team youll take on a mix of preventative maintenance and reactive faultfinding in a fastpaced manufacturing environment.

What you will do
In this role youll be responsible for keeping our electrical systems running at peak performance while maintaining the highest standards of safety. Your daytoday work will involve carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the plant ensuring machinery runs efficiently and downtime is minimised.
Youll work with relay control circuits AC and DC motors and different types of drives troubleshooting and diagnosing faults to keep production moving. Basic PLC fault finding on Siemens Sand 1500 PLCs will be part of your role as well as interpreting electrical drawings and working with computerised maintenance management systems (MMS).
Beyond repairs youll also have the chance to identify and implement improvement projects that boost plant reliability and performance. Whether its tackling longterm maintenance challenges or improving safety and efficiency your input will be key to our success.
What you will need
Were looking for a qualified electrician with experience in a heavy industrial setting. You should be apprenticetrained or hold a Level 3 qualification such as BTEC City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering.
Experience with low voltage systems drives and PLCs will be beneficial along with competence in electrical faultfinding and root cause failure analysis. Ideally youll also be familiar with SAP PM or similar maintenance management systems.
This role follows a rotating shift pattern of days lates and nights (Monday to Friday) so youll need to be comfortable working different shifts. Youll be part of a multiskilled engineering team so being a team player is essential. If you also have 18th Edition qualification or basic mechanical knowledge thats a bonus.
