Job Description

The Social Worker collaborates with the multidisciplinary team and provides input in the development of the IHP/IEP for students requiring social work intervention and support in the school setting. Contract Details: This contract is located near Colorado Springs CO and will last the remainder 2526 school year. The contract pays $52/ hour(local) and $2213 / week for travel and for 37.5 student contact hours per week with a full benefits package. Primary Responsibilities mental health service delivery for students with disabilities special education evaluation student deescalation and crisis responseCandidates must has a Masters in Social Work and be able to get the TEE/SSP License with a Social Work Endorsement. Previous experience working with students is Requirements: Holds a Professional Educator License with School Social Worker (SSW) endorsement as required by state contract and/or facilityMay be required to have MSW or LCSW per state contract or facilityComplies with all relevant professional standards of practice Participation and completion of Amergis Competency program when applicable Current CPR if applicable TB Questionnaire PPD or chest xray if applicable Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) Must meet all federal state and local requirements Successful completion of new hire training as applicable to job site Understand patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including but not limited to supervisors coworkers clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency in the English language is required Computer proficiency required Must be at least 18 years of age
