Job Description
Keith Borer Consultants is a leading name in Forensic Science Consultancy and Expert Witness services. We are looking for an experiencedMobile Device Specialistto join the existing team at our Durham office.
The role involves:
- Forensic examination of mobile devices and cloud data
- Repairing damaged devices in order to facilitate their forensic examination
- Preparing written reports which are accurate and easy to understand
- Peer reviewing the reports of colleagues
- Communicating directly with customers to establish requirements and provide estimates
- Advising Counsel preparing joint expert statements and presenting evidence at Court
- Assisting in progressing towards ISO 17025 accreditation
To be considered for this role you must have relevant subjectspecific experience and be uptodate with advances in this field. A relevant degree or qualifications targeted at this type of role would be advantageous but not essential if appropriate experience can be demonstrated. You will also be organised and diligent selfmotivated and able to take responsibility for your own workload. You will need excellent verbal and written communication skills to be a critical thinker and to have good attention to detail. The ability to work efficiently and effectively irrespective of deadline is essential.
The position can be offered on a full or part time basis with hours to be agreed between 08:00 and 17:30 Monday to Friday.Travel throughout the UK Republic of Ireland and occasionally further afield is to be expected; flexibility will be required to accommodate this. A full UK driving licence is required.
