This is a remote opportunity covering Central/West Coast US territory near a major airport with frequent travel involved.
Primary Focus
The Ingram Micro Account Executive is responsible for aligning platform capabilities and Ingram Micro offerings with customer needs. The Account Executive responsibilities within all three categories of Ingram Micros Customer Engagement Model (Acquire Retain Engage). The Account Executive is recognized as a subject matter expert with specialized knowledge in their field. The Account Executive has direct responsibility for developing relationships that lead to customer adoption. The primary responsibility of the Account Executive is building and maintaining strategic relationships with customers that lead to market share growth and generate revenue and profit dollars for Ingram Micro and the customer.
Key Responsibilities
Creates strategic plans that enhance reseller gotomarket growth initiatives and strategies.
Maintains contact with account at a high executive level focusing on the strategic nature of the relationship.
Generates revenue drives profit and advance marketshare by positioning and selling Ingrams products.
Manages assigned accounts to create strategic plans that enhance reseller gotomarket growth initiatives and strategies.
Generates revenue drives profit and advance marketshare by positioning and selling Ingrams products programs and services.
What experience knowledge and skills does an Account Executive need
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong understanding of strategic selling principles order management project management and operations
Advanced knowledge of Ingram Micros solutions products services and value proposition
Proven success in growing and maintaining yearoveryear sales results.
Skilled in negotiations closing sales coaching associates in high performance culture and order management.
Effectively able to manage profit and loss concepts and forecasting.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills ability to present in both technical and non technical terms to large and small audiences.
Ability to: demonstrate business and financial acumen use influence effectively to drive ideas and initiatives with internal and external partners multitask respond to rapid change manage projects manage detail manage relationships and resources and set realistic and achievable goals/objectives and timelines.
Ability to travel is required conduct in person customer engagements on a regular basis.
Requirements:
A high school diploma (or equivalent) required; bachelors degree preferred.
Minimum of six years previous strategic outside sales account management experience (preferably in a related industry) or four years of technology or distribution experience in a sales or customer service capacity.
Must be a US Citizen to work for us and this role.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $67300.00 $114400.00 per year.The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidates primary work location pay grade and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors in addition to primary work location such as complexity and responsibility of role job duties/requirements and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
