Job Description
As a Project One Bike Painter at Trek Bikes you will play a crucial role in the production processes for our manufacturing responsible for applying highquality custom paint schemes to our bicycles. You will collaborate with a dynamic team of artists and designers to deliver unique customized bicycles to our customers. We are looking for individuals who are detail oriented have a passion for painting and creating works of art. You do not need to have prior bicycle painting experience. This position provides an excellent opportunity for individuals who are eager to learn grow and make a meaningful impact in our manufacturing department.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections to ensure paint finishes meet Treks highquality standards.
- Prepare bike frames for painting by buffing cleaning and priming as necessary.
- Mix paint colors to designated specifications.
- Paint custom Project One signature frames following specified bike schemes.
- Provide exceptional quality painted frames and forks
- Able to work independently on multiple frames
Schedule
- Monday to Friday (Overtime as needed on the weekends)
- 1st shift
- 8 hour shifts
Experience and Qualifications
- Ability to do paint gun/airbrush maintenance preferred but not required!
- High end custom paint application knowledge
Compensation
- $2025 per hour depending on experience level
Requirements
- Respirator is required when painting
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand and use hand tools for extended periods of time.
