- Leading Midtier Civil Contractor with a strong presence in the industry
This favorable civil contractor is a leading contractor who work within resources local authorities and main roads projects across Queensland. Led by a team of highly skilled professionals within the industry this contractors focus is predominantly on roads and bridges and have delivered a number of other successful projects both locally and across the state.
The project consists of major roadworks and structures for TMR on one of the largest local Southeast Queensland job valued at $900M in the Gold Coast. As Site Engineer you will help deliver this landmark project with a strong focus in subcontractor management interfacing and coordinating daily site coordination. Construction activities across green fields work scope include earthworks drainage services major road works and structures. To be successful you must have a minimum of 3 years civil construction experience ideally across main roads projects for a contractor in similar conditions.
Reporting to the Project Engineer your responsibilities will include:
- Programming and daily planning develop shortterm project lookahead
- Quality Assurance management and adherence to TMR standards
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients subcontractors and stakeholders
- Assist with preparation of financial reports and completing forecasts
- Ensuring Safety and Environmental standards are met
To be successful you must have a proven track record of delivering projects to DTMR specifications and quality standards with a civil contractor in similar conditions. Desirable qualities include being selfsufficient strong planning skills & high attention to successful individual must have at least 2 years main roads / TMR local council or other state main roads experience.
