Position Summary:
The focus of Production Supervisor is a leadership role responsible for overseeing multiple production lines while directing staff and processes of a production line on the production floor in a manufacturing environment. This position will oversee scheduling and routine production activities as well as provide firstline troubleshooting when problems arise. This role involves advanced technical expertise strategic resource management while driving continuous improvements to achieve production efficiency and quality goals. Production Supervisor ensures full compliance with all safety and regulatory standards while fostering a highperformance culture. |
Position Description:
- Oversee the production process for multiple line or shifts ensuring operational goals are met.
- Supervises production teams providing direction coaching and performance feedback to Leads and team members.
- Develops and implements strategies for process optimization cost reduction and waste minimization.
- Collaborates with crossfunctional departments (e.g. engineering quality and supply chain) to support production goals.
- Monitors analyzes and reports production metrics identifying areas for improvements and implementing solutions.
- Lead root cause analysis corrective action plans for safety quality and/or production issues.
- Ensure full compliance with OSHA environmental and companyspecific regulations.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for management during production escalations or emergencies.
- Specific tasks are assigned as required for the production line.
- Follow all safety policies protocols procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Advanced knowledge pf production equipment processes and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency in production scheduling systems ERP software and Microsoft office.
- Experience in Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
- Willing to work overtime longer days and some weekends as needed.
- Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.
- Ability to adapt to and work in a fastpaced environment.
- Must be able to hear and see.
- Willingness to help in other areas.

Education Experience/Certifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelors degree in manufacturing engineering or a related field is preferred
- Years of Experience: 5 years progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment processes and troubleshooting techniques preferred.
