Job Description
Job Title: RN Shift Supervisor Skilled Nursing / Long-Term Care
Location: Pennsylvania
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Per Diem (All Shifts May Be Available)
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate RN Shift Supervisor to oversee clinical operations and nursing staff during assigned shifts in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment. The ideal candidate will provide leadership ensure compliance with clinical protocols and support direct care staff in delivering high-quality resident-centered care.
Responsibilities-
Provide on-site supervision of nursing and support staff during assigned shift

Conduct shift reports and coordinate nursing care across departments

Monitor and ensure proper documentation medication administration and compliance with facility and regulatory standards

Respond to emergencies and provide clinical decision-making support
-
Assist with staff scheduling delegation of assignments and resolution of performance concerns
-
Collaborate with physicians families and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
-
Participate in audits incident investigations and quality improvement initiatives

Serve as acting charge nurse when needed and promote a team-based care model

Active and unencumbered RN license in Pennsylvania
-
Minimum 2 years of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility

Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred

BLS/CPR certification (ACLS preferred)

Strong clinical judgment leadership and communication skills
-
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and regulatory compliance standards (e.g. CMS DOH)

Competitive hourly rate: $40 $48/hour depending on experience and shift

Weekend and evening shift differentials may apply

W-2 position with weekly direct deposit

Shifts available: Day Evening Overnight

Availability: Full-time part-time and per diem options available
