About the Role Job Title: Ruby on Rails Developer Responsibilities: Design build and maintain scalable and efficient web applications using Ruby on Rails. Develop RESTful APIs and integrate thirdparty services. Optimize application performance and ensure high availability. Write clean maintainable and testable code following best practices. Work with databases including PostgreSQL MySQL or NoSQL databases. Collaborate with frontend developers product managers and designers to deliver complete solutions. Implement security measures and data protection best practices. Debug troubleshoot and resolve application issues. Participate in code reviews Agile/Scrum meetings and technical discussions. Stay uptodate with the latest Ruby and Rails trends and best practices. Required Skills: Proficiency in Ruby and Ruby on Rails (RoR) framework. Strong understanding of MVC architecture and objectoriented programming (OOP). Experience in RESTful API development and thirdparty API integrations. Proficiency in SQL databases (PostgreSQL MySQL etc.. Familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript React or Angular). Knowledge of background job processing (Sidekiq Resque Delayed Job etc.. Handson experience with Docker Kubernetes AWS or other cloud platforms. Familiarity with version control systems (Git GitHub GitLab etc.. Understanding of TDD/BDD methodologies using RSpec or Minitest. Knowledge of DevOps CI/CD and deployment automation is a plus.
