Role Overview
Were looking for a proactive and detailoriented Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team on a 3month contract. This role can be hybrid with 3 days based in the office and will support the daytoday finance operations helping to ensure the smooth running of our accounts processes during a busy period.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing supplier invoices and reconciling purchase ledger accounts
- Raising customer invoices and allocating payments
- Supporting the monthend process including bank reconciliations
- Maintaining accurate financial records and updating internal systems
- Assisting with credit control and resolving client or supplier queries
- Supporting the Finance team with adhoc tasks and reporting as required
Requirements
What Were Looking For
- Previous experience in a similar finance or accounts support role
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Comfortable working with numbers and confident using Excel
- Excellent organisational and timemanagement skills
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- A team player with a positive cando attitude
- Track record of working in a fast passed environment
Bonus if you have:
- Experience using web based accounting and operating software
- Familiarity with eCommerce or logistics sectors
