Created in 2015 to align lighten and modernize infrastructure the Technology & Infrastructure (T&I) team is the backbone and the futureforward arm of CBC/RadioCanada. This is a hybrid role with a mix of inoffice and remote work. Work arrangements will be discussed with hiring managers per departmental guidelines.
Your Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager Corporate Compliance and Continuous Improvement you are responsible for monitoring compliance activities including all Technology and Infrastructure Committee audit documentation produced by the Office of the Executive VicePresident of CBC/RadioCanadas Technology and Infrastructure (T&I) component. You serve as the primary point of contact for the Corporate Secretariat the Office of the Auditor General and the Internal Controls team for all T&Irelated audits. You oversee timely delivery of the Executive VicePresidents action plans and report on their progress. During audits you coordinate and actively participate in meetings producing audit items reviewing recommendations and developing action plans with stakeholders. You apply your expertise to advise stakeholders on the best audit management techniques for optimizing operational efficiency.
A significant portion of your role involves coordinating the Technology and Infrastructure Committees documentation process ensuring its smooth and efficient flow. Your contributions are crucial in enhancing the quality and effectiveness of submitted documents.
You also lead the annual corporate risk update process providing clear guidance to stakeholders. Throughout the year you prepare reports to support monitoring in various committees including the T&I Compliance Committee.
More broadly you work in tandem with the Senior Manager Corporate Compliance and Continuous Improvement to prepare for Compliance Committee meetings and provide regular updates on current and upcoming audits and action plans.
