As a Line Cook you will be working in our kitchen or working the line in our onsite restaurant. Your main duties include but are not limited to working with fellow team members to provide excellent food service to our guests through the preparation cooking and serving of products in a food safe facility.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare menu items as per recipes
- Prepare large amounts of menu items using effective bulk prepping techniques
- Follows presentation specifications as set by the Food & Beverage Manager and Sous Chef
- Ensure the quality of food is outstanding every time and items are produced quickly and efficiently with pride and attention to detail
- Perform all opening and closing assignments as instructed
- Assists with the cleaning sanitation and organization of kitchen walkin cooler and all storage areas
- Participate in daily shipping receiving distribution inventory and control over kitchen supplies and
- Ensure only the highest quality products are served
Job Qualification
- Previous kitchen or cooking experience necessary
- Formal kitchen training considered an asset
- Strong oral communication skills multilingual is considered an asset
- Positive attitude and a strong desire to provide experiences Guests are amazed by
- Must be able to work in a fastpaced environment with the ability to multitask
- Food Safe Level 1 certification considered an asset.
Job Considerations
- Able to work a variety of shifts including evenings weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business. This position will be part time in slow season with the opportunity for full time in our peak season.
- While performing the duties of this position Team Members are required to be on their feet for extended periods of time
- Occasionally required to lift and carry up to 20lbs
- Occasionally required to lift and climb a step ladder or step stool.
- Performs additional responsibilities as requested by the Sous Chef.
The compensation for this position is $23.10 per hour.
