Job Summary:

If you are sales professional with experience in industrial or plumbing markets Emerson has an opportunity for you! Based in Perth you will be responsible for territorial management demonstrating RIDGID products running trade events and developing the business in line with the Ridge Tool strategy.

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Manage your territory calling on customers and working closely with our distribution network
  • Demonstrate RIDGID products to customers and at trade events and exhibitions
  • Utilise Pull Push strategy to promote products and develop new business
  • Complete sales reporting particularly on product issues and business changes
  • Provide regular updates on competitor actions and industry trends in the region
  • Grow sales and develop new business opportunities

Who You Are:

You establish and maintain effective customer relationships. You maintain a track record of exceeding goals successfully. You form diverse teams to build a mix of styles perspectives and experience. You understand that different situations may call for different approaches. You understand internal and external customer requirements expectations and needs.

For This Role You Will Need:

  • Minimum 3 years sales experience preferably within the plumbing sector or an equivalent service industry such as electrical refrigeration or industrial products and experience with face to face customer sales.
  • Good time management skills and be a selfstarter.
  • Ability to follow instructions and show initiative where required.
  • Ability to work within a team environment and as an individual to achieve set goals and sales targets.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and work within companies guidelines.
  • Ability to meet and exceed customers expectations and provide a level of service that meets the expectation of our customers and brand.
  • Ability to forecast promote and meet set sales targets.
  • Ability to work with distributors to ensure they range and stock a core range of products.
  • Ability to use a CRM data base system to report on daily and monthly activities.
  • Travel will be required within the territories regional areas to service the customers and distributors on a bi monthly basis
