Job Description

As a Sales Representative within Xylems Water Solutions & Services segment you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities while maintaining and growing relationships with existing customers. This role requires a proactive customerfocused approach engaging with clients through facetoface meetings virtual interactions and industry events. You will work independently within your assigned territory to drive sales provide expert guidance on Xylems solutions and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to drive sales growth.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.

  • Create and deliver compelling proposals and quotes tailored to customer needs.

  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction retention and repeat business.

  • Accurately maintain CRM records for sales forecasting and strategic planning.

  • Stay up to date on industry trends company offerings and emerging technologies.

  • Conduct sales presentations product demonstrations and training sessions.

  • Participate in customer engagement initiatives such as trade shows webinars and networking events.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide customized solutions to customers.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience
Required:

  • Bachelors degree in business Engineering or a related field.

  • 13 years of experience in outside sales customer service or a related field.

  • Strong communication and relationshipbuilding skills.

  • Ability to work independently while contributing to team success.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word Excel).

  • Basic understanding of ERP and CRM systems.

  • Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record.

Preferred:

  • Experience in water solutions industrial sales or technical sales.

  • Knowledge of Xylems products and services.

  • Familiarity with sales strategies and industry best practices.

Physical & Travel Requirements

  • Ability to sit stand walk and use a computer for extended periods.

  • Capability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds occasionally.

  • Frequent travel (up to 50 to customer sites meetings and industry events.

  • Work may involve exposure to industrial environments varying temperatures and noise levels.
