Job Description
Qualis LLC is seeking a Qualification Test Engineer at our Redstone Arsenal Huntsville location. This position will include:
- Responsible for designing and executing Qualification test plans to validate the functionality and quality of complex Army missile systems
- Lead and support component subsystem and systemlevel qualification testing; test types may include Environmental EMI/EMC Safety Human Factors. Includes onsite TDY testing support completing training to operate weapon system equipment at test facility and performing Unit Under Test functional checks.
- Ensure of test schedule by collaborating with test facility staff and daily status reporting to STRIKE leadership.
- Evaluate systems to ensure they meet military standards (MILSTD810 MILSTD461 and MILSTD464
- Identify potential weapon system issues and defects by performing tests on the systems features
- Report findings to ensure the final product meets specifications working closely with development teams across the product lifecycle
- This position involves physically climbing on top of military vehicles and weapon systems
Requirements
Requirements:
- BS or BA degree
- 10 years test and evaluation experience
- 5 years experience in weapon system qualification testing (can be part of the 10 years above)
- Experience with evaluating systems to ensure they meet military standards (MILSTD810 MILSTD461 and MILSTD464
- Must be a US citizen
- *Active DoD Secret security clearance
Preferred Experience
- Redstone Test Center (RTC) or other lab experience
