The Role
Audit Services is an independent function designed to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management internal controls and governance processes within Wyndham. This internship is designed to provide valuable exposure to auditing practices financial analysis risk management and corporate governance. The candidate will work alongside experienced professionals to support audit engagements and assist with internal control assessments. This position is ideal for motivated detailoriented individuals pursuing a career in auditing finance or risk management.
What youll do
- Perform audit work to verify the accuracy of gross room revenue amounts reported by our franchisees
- Audit workpapers / support
- Help assess design and operating effectiveness of controls in compliance with the Sarbanes Oxley Section 404 provision
- Perform audit test work under the direction of management on ongoing operational audits
- Conduct research on industry best practices regulations and audit standards
Youll be successful if you have
- Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to think critically and analytically detailoriented
Required Qualifications/Experience
- Be enrolled in an accredited college university or trade school undergraduate or graduate degree program.
- Be an undergraduate Rising Senior or pursuing a graduate degree.
- Accounting Finance Business or a Related Field.
