Covenant Health in partnership with Alberta Health Services and the University of Alberta Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry Department of Emergency Medicine invites applications for a locum Emergency Medicine Specialist at the Grey Nuns Community Hospital in Edmonton Alberta. This is an outstanding practice opportunity to work on a committed and creative team serving local and outlying communities in Albertas Edmonton Zone. This role will have 1012 shifts/month with a chance of additional shifts.
Required:
- MD or equivalent.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
- Certification in Emergency Medicine with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or the College of Family Physicians Canada (FRCPC or CCFPEM)
- ACLS PALS and ATLC Competency.
- Expertise and commitment to quality care and patient safety.
- Demonstrated commitment to Equity Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) in the healthcare environment.
- Understanding of Just Culture and its role in healthcare.
