A. Position Introduction

Type: Platform Engineer Senier SDE
Location: Bangalore/Ahmedabad (Remote candidates will also be considered)
Reports to: Engineering Manager

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Software Developer to join our dynamic and fastpaced engineering team. The ideal candidate will contribute to the core logic development and platform architecture design for our cuttingedge projects. You will play a pivotal role in creating scalable highperformance and secure microservices using with TypeScript and a PostgreSQL database on the AWS cloud.

You will also collaborate with mobile application developers to ensure seamless integration with SQLCipher and SQLite databases on mobile platforms written in Dart. Redis will be utilized for caching and the candidate must have experience with eventdriven programming and queuing mechanisms such as RabbitMQ Kafka or SQS. All solutions must adhere to SOLID principles and proper design patterns.

C. Job Description

1. Microservices Development:
   
• Develop robust scalable and secure microservices in with TypeScript for a distributed architecture.
  
• Implement highquality APIs that support both mobile applications and other microservices.
  
2. Mobile Backend Development:
   
• Collaborate with mobile developers to create backend solutions using Dart integrating seamlessly with SQLCipher and SQLite databases on mobile platforms.
  
3. Database Management:
   
• Design implement and optimize database schemas in PostgreSQL on the AWS cloud.
  
• Integrate Redis for caching and enhancing application performance.
  
4. EventDriven Programming and Queuing Mechanisms:
   
• Implement and maintain eventdriven architectures for asynchronous processing.
  
• Design and manage queuing mechanisms such as RabbitMQ Kafka or AWS SQS to ensure smooth communication between services.
  
5. System Architecture and Core Logic:
   
• Design and implement the core logic and platform architecture for new and existing systems ensuring scalability and security.
  
• Employ design patterns and SOLID principles to ensure clean maintainable and reusable code.
  
6. Code Quality and Best Practices:
   
• Ensure all code follows industry best practices including CI/CD pipelines automated testing and proper documentation.
  
• Conduct peer reviews enforce coding standards and mentor junior developers.
  
7. Performance Optimization:
   
• Ensure optimal performance and reliability of microservices databases and mobile backend systems.
  
• Use time profiling and memory optimization techniques to maintain application efficiency.
  
8. Collaboration and Troubleshooting:
   
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including mobile developers product teams and system architects to ensure smooth implementation.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and application issues.
  
9. PostRelease Support:
   
• Take ownership of teambuilt software postrelease ensuring bug fixes improvements and feature enhancements.
  

D. Technical Experience

1. and TypeScript:
   
• Extensive experience in developing microservices using with TypeScript.
  
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and modern JavaScript concepts.
  
2. EventDriven Programming:
   
• Experience implementing eventdriven architectures to enable asynchronous communication across distributed systems.
  
3. Queuing Mechanisms:
   
• Strong knowledge of queuing technologies such as RabbitMQ Kafka or AWS SQS ensuring smooth communication between services.
  
4. Database Expertise:
   
• Advanced proficiency in PostgreSQL for cloudbased environments on AWS including schema design and query optimization.
  
• Experience with SQLCipher and SQLite databases for mobile applications.
  
• Knowledge of integrating Redis for caching mechanisms.
  
5. Mobile Backend Development:
   
• Expertise in writing backend code in Dart for mobile applications.
  
• Experience in secure data storage with SQLCipher and SQLite.
  
6. Design Principles:
   
• Strong knowledge of SOLID principles and software design patterns with proven experience in applying them to largescale projects.
  
7. API Development:
   
• Expertise in developing and managing RESTful APIs to support mobile and web applications.
  
• Proficiency in API gateway integration for microservices.
  
8. Scalability and Optimization:
   
• Proven experience in building scalable highperformance systems and addressing performance bottlenecks.
  
9. Version Control and CI/CD:
   
• Proficient in using Git and Bitbucket for version control.
  
• Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments.
  
10. State Management and Cache:
    

o Expertise in caching strategies using Redis and maintaining state across distributed systems.

E. Academic and Professional Expertise

1. Holds an academic degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
   
2. 5 to 8 years of professional experience in backend development microservices and mobile app backend integration.
