Job Description

Drafter 2 Job Summary

Location ; Birmingham AL

Duration : 1 Year

Start Date : 04/21/2025

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of drafting experience required
Associates degree in Drafting is preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

Perform CAD drafting for:
- Boundary surveys
- Transmission line rightofway (ROW) surveys
- Land tie surveys
Prepare written descriptions including:
- Metes and bounds descriptions
- Centerline descriptions for assigned projects

Support Functions:

Assist survey field crews and office personnel with:
- Researching existing survey and real estate records
- Contacting local and state agencies to gather rightofway information
- Transmitting completed project files and documentation
