DaytoDay Responsibilities:
1. Accounts Receivable (AR) & Accounts Payable (AP):
- Generate and send invoices to customers follow up on payments and track outstanding balances.
- Process vendor invoices verify details and ensure timely payments.
- Reconcile bank statements customer accounts and vendor payments.
- Maintain a clear record of transactions and outstanding payables/receivables.
2. Expense Tracking & Financial Management:
- Record and categorize business expenses accurately in accounting software.
- Monitor budgets and identify areas for cost optimization.
- Process employee reimbursements verify supporting documents and ensure policy compliance.
- Generate periodic expense reports for management.
3. Compliance & Taxation:
- Ensure timely GST filing and reconciliation to avoid penalties.
- Handle PF ESI and TDS calculations and compliance.
- Work closely with CA and CS to maintain statutory compliance and submit regulatory filings.
- Keep records updated for audits and financial reporting.
4. Payroll & Accounting Software Management:
- Process payroll using Razorpay Payroll / Zoho Payroll including salary computation deductions and statutory payments.
- Ensure timely salary disbursement tax deductions and compliance with labor laws.
- Maintain payroll records and address employee payroll queries.
5. Tally & Financial Reporting:
- Record daily financial transactions in Tally ERP and reconcile ledgers.
- Generate profit & loss statements balance sheets and financial reports.
- Assist in financial forecasting budgeting and cash flow management.
- Generate MIS reports and share financial insights with management.
6. Audit & Internal Controls:
- Prepare and maintain financial documents for internal and external audits.
- Implement financial controls and ensure adherence to policies.
- Address discrepancies and provide documentation to auditors as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education & Experience:
- Education: B / M / MBA (Finance) or CA Inter / ICWA preferred.
- Experience: 45 years of handson experience in accounting taxation and payroll.
- Prior experience working in a finance team managing AR AP and compliance.
Technical Skills:
- Accounting Software: Proficiency in Tally ERP is a must.
- Payroll Management: Experience with Razorpay Payroll or Zoho Payroll.
- Tax & Compliance: Strong knowledge of GST PF ESI and TDS.
- Financial Reporting: Experience in preparing profit & loss statements balance sheets and cash flow reports.
- Microsoft Office: Strong command over MS Excel for financial data analysis and reporting.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with CA CS and internal teams.
- Strong communication skills for vendor and stakeholder interactions.
- Ability to handle multiple financial tasks and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a startup or SME environment.
- Exposure to financial automation tools and process optimization.
- Knowledge of audit processes and internal financial controls.
