Job Summary
Under the general direction of the Accounting Manager the Finance Business Partner I will perform accounting activities to ensure compliance with GAAP IFRS corporate policies and external auditors. The Finance Business Partner I will have an active role in monthly closing fixed asset management journal entries and account reconciliations.
Job Responsibilities
Accounting: Preparing/reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations. Identify and resolve financial accounting issues. Record and maintain intercompany transactions.
Fixed Assets: Maintain fixed asset in SAP with a subsidiary ledger in Sage FAS software depreciation schedules costing appropriateness of new assets and monitoring asset costs against approved expenditures.
Audits: Assist with external and internal audits /reviews. Complete requested materials timely.
Internal Control: Evaluate and document procedures and workflow to achieve accurate and efficient accounting systems safeguard company assets and ensure transactions are recorded properly.
Systems: Assist with system enhancements to increase efficiency including testing and final approval for upgrades of system reports and automating processes.
Conform with and abide by all regulatory guidance and internal policies & procedure.
Perform other related duties as required.
Job Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelors of Science in Accounting or Finance or equivalent required.
4 years of progressive experience in the accounting field including experience in a manufacturing industry required.
4 years of intermediatetoadvanced experience with MS Excel required including functions such as pivot vlookups and formulas.
This job role requires proficiency in English both verbal and written that is sufficient to understand and effectively follow written safety procedures company policies work instructions operations manuals and more in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Through understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles including IFRS.
Strong analytical and accounting skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including email.
Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Word and Excel.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SAP ERP.
Ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment.
Compensation Range
The compensation range for this position is between $73396 $85000.
