  • You will be an essential part of our daily operations and play a vital role in the success of the entire team. Your position as an Employment Advisor is unique and uniquely valued. This role supports the Maryborough team and may be required to support our Gayndah and Hervey Bay sites where required.

A day in the life of an Employment Advisor

As an Employment Advisor each day on the job is different. One day you might be hitting the road chasing meaningful leads and relationships and closing deals with businesses of all sizes. The next day you could be representing EPIC as a brand ambassador at an expo leading disability awareness training sessions and ensuring businesses have the tools and resources they need to support their aspiring workers.

The balance of your work might change as you find your stride but to start off it will look a little something like this:

  • 75 creating and sourcing new employment opportunities for your job seekers.
  • 7.5 directly supporting employers to become disability confident grow their knowledge and increase the diversity inclusivity and accessibility of their workplaces.
  • 7.5 collaborating motivating planning and sharing your ideas skills and experience with the team.
  • 10 maintaining and completing records claims and other important documentation.

  • Administration: You dont need to be a tech guru to succeed here but you do need to have intermediate computer literacy phone and record keeping skills.

What youll need to start in this role

  • Current drivers license.
  • Working with Children Clearance or willing to obtain one.
  • National police check.
