Job Description
Qualifications:
- VA 612 Math Endorsement
- Experience teaching the VA Data Science HS Course preferred
- Skills: Python CODAP Sheets/Excel
Essential Duties
Essential duties are interpreted as being descriptive and not restrictive in nature. Other duties may be assigned.
Teach Data Science Math as assigned and/or Data Hub electives.
- Utilize technology data visualization and lab investigations to enhance student understanding.
- Foster critical thinking and analytical skills through projectbased learning.
- Collaborate with the Data Science Lab School faculty to integrate data literacy and computational thinking into science instruction.
Mentor students on data analytics credentials and universitymentored projects
Support DJ Howard programming; Duties as assigned
Support the Lab School Programs development through leadership & participate in the administration of Professional Learning opportunities
Pay Rate:
Teacher Salary Scale (credit is based on years of fulltime experience in a related position)
Contract:
Full time / 10 months / 200 days
Start Date:
This position is effectivefor theschool year. Applicants for theschool year will also be considered.
