JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Penn State Abington is searching for up to five 5 parttime STEM Academy Instructors for an inperson math and science based high school program at a community organization in Northeast Philadelphia. The instructors will be responsible for providing predesigned content in a singular STEM field (Engineering Math Physics IST Computer Science) to a group of high school students in outofschool programming. Project activities will occur between October 14 2024 and June 15 2025 with opportunities to extend project participation into later semesters. Program activities take place between 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on most weekdays. Instructors will generally work 6 hours per week.
Requirements and Qualifications
Employment with the University for this job will require successful completion of the Pennsylvania (PA) Publicly Available Clearances: PA Child Abuse History Clearance PA State Police Criminal Record Check and the FBI Criminal History Background Check.
