The Role:
As an IT Application Architect you will be instrumental in shaping the technical landscape in alignment with our organisational patterns policies and objective. Your role will involve designing robust and scalable architectural solutions that enable developers to build highquality applications efficiently. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs provide architectural guidance and ensure that the solutions align with best practices and business goals.
Skills and Experience Required:
An application architect will have a combination of architectural and technical skills to support architecture of sustainable and resilient applications:
System architecture in event driven and microservice architecture
Knowledge of AWS cloud skills and services
Familiarity with database technology such as SQL and NoSQL and data modelling
Knowledge of integration technologies such as API integration design patterns and message queues
Knowledge of patternbased architecture and pattern design
Security protocols and encryption methods
Analytical thinking
Location and Contract Term: This role is based in Melbourne (Docklands) Adelaide Canberra and Brisbane . 12 month contract with 2 x 12month extension options pending budget and delegate approval.
Security Requirements: Applicants must be Australian Citizens. A Baseline security clearance is required.
