Job Description

UPMC Western Maryland is seeking a dedicated and experienced HematologyOncology Physician to join our dynamic team. The position will be 2 weeks providing telemedicine services and 2 weeks of onsite services that will consist of one week of on call. This role offers the opportunity to provide highquality patientcentered care from the convenience of a remote setting utilizing cuttingedge telemedicine technology to support patients with hematologic and oncologic Responsibilities:Conduct virtual consultations and followup appointments for patients with hematologic and oncologic with an interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement personalized treatment lab results imaging and other diagnostic tests to guide clinical second opinions and expert recommendations for referring in tumor board meetings and other multidisciplinary discussions as compliance with telemedicine best practices hospital protocols and regulatory :Board certification in Hematology and/or Oncology (required).Active medical license in Maryland and the state the provider will be working from.
